MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – On Tuesday, April 25, the Wesleyan University Athletic Department will host a Bone Marrow Donor Registry Drive from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Fayerweather-Beckham Hall.
The Cardinals are taking part in a program called "Get in the Game. Save a Life," which is designed to educate college football players and their peers about the ability to save the lives of people diagnosed with life-threatening blood cancers through marrow and stem cell transplants.
There are roughly 80 college football programs across the country that are participating in the cause, with over 71,000 donors thus far and an incredible 363 transplants. For more information regarding the drive, click HERE.
