NESCAC ALL-CONFERENCE TEAMS

This is the second appearance on the all-conference team for Miceli, who earned first team laurels last season. The senior started every game for the Cardinals this year, mostly behind the plate, while also seeing time in the outfield and on the mound. Offensively, the West Hartford, Conn. native batted .237 with two home runs and 18 RBI. On the mound, the righthander went 2-2 in eight appearances (seven starts), with 36 strikeouts to rank third on the team and 13th overall in the conference.

Miceli has amassed 117 hits for his career, which places him tied for 32nd in team history. He also tied the Wesleyan career saves record, earning career save number 11 in a 4-3 victory over Hamilton College on May 4.

For Rode, this is his first appearance on the all-conference team, as the Doylestown, Pa. native finished the year with a 3-4 record in nine appearances (seven starts). The right hander pitched 49 innings for the Cardinals, during which he struck out 37 batters and walked just 12. His 37 strikeouts ranked second on the squad and 11th in the NESCAC, while his 49 innings pitched were tops on the team and tenth in the conference.
