MANCHESTER, N.H. – Mike Breuler '18 of the Wesleyan University football team added another accolade to a long list of accomplishments as the wide receiver was named to the 2017 New England Football Writers Division II/III All-New England Team.
Breuler was one of four NESCAC players to be honored, joining Liam Kenneally and Chris Simmons of Trinity and Andrew Yamin of Amherst. In all, 30 players from 20 different teams in New England were recognized.
The Hamden, Conn. native was also named the Joe Zabilski Award winner by The Gridiron Club of Greater Boston, the 2017 NESCAC Offensive Player of the Year, and an All-NESCAC First Team selection this year. He finished his historic senior season with 87 catches for 1,172 yards and 10 touchdowns in just nine games.
