MIDDLETOWN, Conn. - The nationally-ranked No. 9 Wesleyan University men's basketball team earned its way into the top-10 of the D3hoops.com Top 25 poll for the first time in program history, and have garnered local and regional recognition from several media outlets for its outstanding 11-1 start to the season.

Prior to Tuesday's loss to Rhode Island College, the Cardinals were riding an 11-game winning streak. The team's perfect 11-0 record was the second best start in program history, behind only the 1911-12 Wesleyan team that finished 13-0.
