WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – Saadia Naeem '20 of the Wesleyan University golf team competed in the two-day Williams Women's Spring Invitational at the Taconic Golf Club this weekend, which wrapped up on Sunday, April 29.
While Naeem competed at Williams, several other members of the Cardinals' golf team competed in an exhibition tournament at Middlebury. This weekend's competition marked the end of the 2017-18 season for Wesleyan.
- Cordelia Chan of Williams won the tournament with a two-day score of 147 (74-73), while teammate Elizabeth Gudas carded a 148 (72-76) to finish second.
- Gudas' score of 72 on Day 1 was the lowest 18-hole score of the tournament.
- Naeem cut one stroke off her Day 1 score as she carded a 103 on Saturday and a 102 on Sunday to finish with a two-day mark of 205.
- Other members of the Wesleyan golf team competed in an exhibition tournament at Middlebury.
