    The Wesleyan University golf team finished 10th overall at the 2017 NESCAC Men’s Qualifier, and were led by Zach Lambros ’17 who was the Cardinals’ top finisher with a 159 after two days of competition in Newington, Conn. at the Indian Hill Country Club.

    The Wesleyan University golf tema hit the links at Williams College this weekend at the Taconic Golf Club for the Williams Fall Invitational, finishing 18th in the 19-team field. Zach Lambros ’18 led the Cardinals with a two-day 165.

    The Wesleyan University golf team competed at the two-day Duke Nelson Invitational this weekend, hosted by Middlebury College at The Ralph Myhre Golf Course, and finished 21st in the 22-team field. Zach Lambros ’17 led the way for the Cardinals and carded a 78 today, after posting a 77 on Day 1, to combine for a weekend score of 155.

    The Wesleyan University golf team opened its 2017-18 season this past weekend at the two-day Bill Detrick Invitational hosted by Trinity College at the Indian Hill Country Club. The Cardinals, led by senior captain Zach Lambros, finished 11th out of 11 teams with an 860 (408-452).

    The Wesleyan University golf team will open its 2017-18 campaign this weekend with the two-day, Bill Detrick Invitational at the Indian Hill Country Club in Newington, Conn. The following weekend, the Cardinals will compete at the Duke Nelson Invitational hosted by Middlebury, before wrapping up the month of September with the Williams Fall Invitational (9/23 – 9/24) and the NESCAC Championship Qualifier (9/30 – 10/1), which will also take place at the Indian Hill Country Club.

    Finishing in a tie for 27th place in a field of 100 participants, Zach Lambros '19 (photo) carded a 76-81-157 score during the Blazer Invitational hosted by Elms Sat.-Sun., Sept. 26-27. His performance led the way for Wesleyan to finish 13th of 20 teams with a 659 team total. Wesleyan closes out the fall campaign Sat.-Sun., Oct. 3-4 with its second trip to Williams this fall as the Ephs host the annual NESCAC Qualifier with the top four teams advancing to the spring conference championship event.

    Inaugurating fall action in Williamstown, Mass. for the annual Williams Fall Invitational, Wesleyan placed 18th of 20 teams with a score of 671, a significant improvement over a year ago when the team also secured 18th place with a 708 total.
