Wesleyan Men's Lacrosse at the 2018 NCAA Championships

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- On Friday, May 25, the Wesleyan University men's lacrosse team arrived at Gillette Stadium, the home of the 2018 NCAA Men's Lacrosse Championships. The Cardinals--ranked No. 9 in the USILA Division III Coaches Poll--will face 12-time NCAA Champions and No. 3 Salisbury University in the championship game this Sunday, May 26.

On Friday, the Cardinals practiced at Westwood High School in Westwood, Mass. before heading to the stadium for the Division II/III banquet in the West Club of Gillette Stadium. At the end of the dinner, junior attack Carter Hawthorne was named the recipient of the Elite 90 award which is presented to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative grade-point average participating at the finals site for each of the NCAA's championships.
