No. 19 Men's Squash Falls to No. 9 Drexel, 9-0

MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – The 19th-ranked Wesleyan University men's squash team fell to No. 9 Drexel University Saturday at the Rosenbaum Squash Center, 9-0.

MATCH HIGHLIGHTS

  • The loss snapped the Cardinals' six-match winning streak. They are now 6-3 in dual-matches this season.
  • Guy Davidson '16 was narrowly edged in the No. 1 spot by Atticus Kelly. After claiming the first set, 11-6, Davidson dropped the next two (11-9, 11-6). The senior forced a decisive fifth and final set with an 11-9 win in the fourth, but Kelly prevailed with an 11-6 win to claim the match.
  • Drexel swept courts No. 2-9.

  • Wesleyan returns to the court Sunday, Jan. 31 and will head to Williamstown, Mass. for Little Three competition against Williams and Amherst beginning at 11 a.m.
