The Lead: The No. 23 Wesleyan University men's squash team fell to No. 24 Colby College late Saturday afternoon, 6-3.

MATCH HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Wesleyan earned wins from the No. 2, No. 4 and No. 5 positions.
  • David Sneed '17 grabbed another win Saturday and remains perfect on the season as he edged Patrick McCarthry in the No. 2 spot, 3-2 by scores of 11-9, 11-3, 7-11, 3-11, 12-10.
  • In the No. 4 spot, Alex Kamisher '17 won 3-1 against Hugh Doherty. After dropping the first set, 11-6, Kamisher responded with wins of 11-8, 12-10, 11-7.
  • Grant Lounsbury '17 grabbed another 3-1 victory for the Cardinals as he defeated William Pepi in the No. 5 position by marks of 11-9, 10-12, 12-10, 14-12.

UP NEXT:

  • The Cardinals return to action Saturday, Jan. 21 and will face Stanford (12 p.m.) and Colby (4 p.m.) in the Pioneer Valley Invite at Mount Holyoke College.
