AMHERST, Mass. – Top-seeded Trinity College and second-seeded Bates College will play in the NESCAC Championship match for the second consecutive season. The two teams will meet on Sunday, February 5 at 3 p.m. at the Davenport Squash Courts on the campus of Amherst College.
Middlebury will face Williams at 1 p.m. on Sunday to decidce the third and fourth place finisher.

The top four seeds advanced to the semifinals following quarterfinal play on Saturday. No. 1 Trinity, No. 2 Bates and No. 4 Middlebury posted 9-0 sweeps over No. 8 Wesleyan, No. 7 Bowdoin and No. 5 Colby, respectively. Third-seeded Williams reached the semifinals following a 7-2 win over No. 6 Amherst.
In the first semifinal match, Trinity downed Middlebury, 9-0, while Bates registered a 6-3 win against Williams.
In the 5th place playoff consolation bracket, Colby topped Wesleyan, 6-3, while Amherst defeated Bowdoin, 6-3. Amherst will play Colby to determine 5th and 6th place, while Wesleyan and Bowdoin vie for 7th and 8th overall. Both matches are scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. at the Davenport Squash Court.
In the round robin consolation bracket, No. 9 Tufts secured 9th place overall, defeating No. 10 Hamilton, 6-3, and No. 11 Connecticut College, 7-2. Hamilton concluded tournament play with a 10th place finish after downing Connecticut College, 6-3.
