Cardinals Lose 7-2 to Connecticut College

NEW LONDON, Conn. – Sean Choi and Josh Lane picked up the lone wins for the 31st-ranked Wesleyan University men's squash team on Friday night as the Cardinals lost to No. 29 Connecticut College, 7-2.

MATCH HIGHLIGHTS: 

  • Choi won in four sets in the No. 1 position by scores of 11-6, 11-6, 5-11, 4-2.
  • In the No. 3 spot, Lane won in four sets as well. He took the first two, 11-7, 11-2 before losing in the third, 14-12. However, he responded nicely with an 11-5 victory to claim the win.
  • Kevin Le and Robby Greenspan dropped difficult five-set thrillers. Le lost the No. 4 spot (10-12, 11-7, 10-12, 16-14, 11-8) and Greenspan fell in the No. 9 slot (11-8, 9-11, 8-11, 12-10, 11-3)
  • The Camels swept Wesleyan in the No. 2, 6 and 7 spots.
