Men’s Track and Field Competes in Little Three Championship

MIDDLETOWN, Conn. - The Wesleyan University track and field team competed in the Little Three Indoor Meet against Williams College and Amherst College Saturday afternoon at Bacon-Field House, and finished third overall.

Williams won the meet with 159 points followed by Amherst with 120 and Wesleyan with 48.

Highlightes of the day for the Cardinals in track events were senior Taylor Titcomb, and sophomores Albert Fang and Austin Dhillon. Titcomb took home fourth-place in the mile run with a time of 4:25.32, Fang finished fourth in the 400 meter run with a time of 53.16, and Dhillon captured third place in the 600 meter run with a mark of 1:27.64.

In field events, senior Agbon Edomwonyi took home two first-place finishes with wins in the shot put (14.75m) and the weight throw (15.16m).

Wesleyan returns to action Saturday, Jan. 23 and will host the Wesleyan Indoor Invitational. The meet is scheduled to being at 11 a.m.
