McCracken of Men’s Track & Field Stars at Open New England Championship

HANOVER, N.H. – Junior Andrew McCracken of the Wesleyan University men's track & field team finished fourth overall with a mark of 4.55 meters in the pole vault at the Open New England Championship on Friday and Saturday at Dartmouth in Hanover, N.H.

The Cardinals finished in 31st overall out of 36 teams, while Southern Connecticut State came in first place with a score of 113.5, and UMass Amherst (71) and New Hampshire (53) finished in the second and third slots, respectively.

Senior Tate Knight was the 14th-place finisher in the 10,000m (32:18.50), and senior John Henry Vansant finished with a time of 33:18.05 in the event.
