Four Cardinals Earn Second Place at Wesleyan Invite

MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – The Wesleyan men's indoor track and field team hosted the Wesleyan Invite on Saturday, while members of the team also competed at the 51st New England NEICAAA meet on Friday and Saturday in Boston.

HIGHLIGHTS FROM WESLEYAN INVITE:

  • Runner up finished included Christian Denny in the 60m (7.21) and Nick Carulli in the 60m hurdles (8.78). Andrew Dearborn placed second in the high jump (1.85m), while Noah Olsen earned second in the long jump (6.39m)
  • Olsen also came in fourth in the high jump with a mark of 1.80m.
  • Denny recorded a fifth-place finish in the 200m, clocking in at 23.60.

HIGHLIGHTS FROM OPEN NEW ENGLAND CHAMPIONSHIPS:

  • Andrew McCracken placed ninth in the pole vault on Friday afternoon with a mark of 4.55m.

  • Wesleyan will head to Staten Island on Friday for the Ocean Breeze meet.
