    Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Teams Garner All-Academic Team Honors; Six Earn Individual Praise The Wesleyan University men's and women's cross country teams have received 2016 All-Academic Team honors, as announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA), while Will Dudek '17 and Tate Knight ’18 of the men’s team, and Caroline Elmendorf ’17, Rhoen Fiutak ’19, Julia Mitchell ’19 and Molly Schassberger '17 of the women’s team garnered All-Academic Individual praise. Head Coach John Crooke’s squads have earned academic All-American praise in each of his 17 seasons at the helm.

    Will Dudek '17 Competes in Division III Men's Cross Country Individual Championship Louisville, Ky. - Senior Will Dudek of the Wesleyan University men’s cross country team took part in the 2016 NCAA Division III Individual Championship, which were held at E.P. “Tom” Sawyer State Park. His time of 25:06.3 was good enough for 49th place out of a field which featured 278 runners.

    Men's Cross Country Competes at NESCAC Championship The Wesleyan University men’s cross country team finished in 10th place overall in the NESCAC Championship, which was held on the campus of Colby College. Williams won the championship for the fourth consecutive year, and were followed by Amherst in second place while Middlebury and Tufts tied for third place.

    Men’s Cross Country Eyes Return to Nationals The Wesleyan University Men’s Cross Country team finished 11th in the country in 2015, and fourth in the New England region. The Cardinals’ 11th place finish at the NCAA Division III National Championships was the best in program history.
