Wesleyan Competes at the Little Three Cross Country Championship

The Lead: The Wesleyan University men's cross country team hosted the Little Three Championship with rivals Williams and Amherst on Saturday, and the Cardinals runners had a strong performance overall on the day.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

  • Senior Will Dudek had the best finish for Wesleyan as he placed fourth overall with a home course personal record time of 25:32.90. 
  • Tate Knight '18 completed the 8K race with a mark of 26:46.20. 
  • Freshman Kevin McMorrow  finished the race with a time of 27:12.00.
  • Shota Nakamura '19 and and William Bajohr '20 completed the run with marks of 27:40.90 and 27:46.60. Nakamura's time was a new course personal record. 
  • Sophomore Josh Signore came in with a time of 27:56.30, and was followed by teammate Conner Sexton '20 with a mark of 28:00.00.

UP NEXT:

  • The Cardinals will return to the track on Saturday, October 29th as they will compete at the NESCAC Championships at Colby College in Waterville, Maine. The race is scheduled to begin at 12 p.m.
