Cardinals Finish 12th at New England Regionals

The Lead: Senior Will Dudek and junior Tate Knight earned All-Region honors as the Wesleyan University men's cross country team finished 12th in the 2016 NCAA Division III New England Regional Qualifying race. 

HOW IT HAPPENED:

  • Dudek led the way for the Cardinals, finishing in eighth place as he completed the race in 24:55.34. The finish was his best meet finish as a Cardinal.
  • Knight completed the run in 25:24.72, which is a new personal record time for him, while freshman Kevin McMorrow also set a new personal record as he came across the line with a time of 26:11.35.
  • Senior Reid Hawkins and junior Connor Cobb completed the course with times of 26:20.18 and 26:27.31, respectively. Cobb set a new personal record time by almost two minutes. 
  • Josh Signore '19 finished with a time of 27:16.98, while William Bajohr finished with a mark of 27:28.61.

 UP NEXT:

  • Dudek will compete as an indivudual in the NCAA Championships, which will be held on Saturday, November 19th at E.P. Tom Sawyer Park in Louisville, Ky.
