No. 23 Women's Squash Falls to No. 19 Hamilton, 8-1

MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – The 23rd-ranked Wesleyan University women's squash team fell to No. 19 Hamilton College Saturday afternoon at the Rosenbaum Squash Center, 8-1.

MATCH HIGHLIGHTS

  • Laila Samy '18 picked up the only win of the day for the Cardinals as she claimed the No. 1 court decisively with a 3-0 sweep. The sophomore defeated Rachel Newman by scores of 11-0, 11-1, 11-1.
  • Trailing 2-0 on court No. 4, Tatum Leclair '18 earned a hard-fought third set, 13-11, but dropped the match in the fourth and final set.
