  • Prasad Competes at CSA Individual Championships

    Sophomore Aditi Prasad of the Wesleyan women's squash team competed in the Holleran Cup (B Division South) at the 2019 College Individual Championships today in the Nicol Squash Club at Moses Brown School. Prasad lost both of her matches as her impressive sophomore season has come to an end.
  • Choi and Prasad to Compete at CSA Individual National Championships

    All-NESCAC First Team selections Sean Choi and Aditi Prasad will compete in the 2019 College Squash Association (CSA) Individual National Championships Friday-Sunday, March 1-3 at the Nicol Squash Club (Moses Brown School) in Providence, R.I. Brown University will serve as host of the tournament.
  • Women's Squash Claims Walker Cup Consolation Finals

    The 23rd-ranked Wesleyan University women’s squash team won the Consolation Finals of the Walker Cup (C Division) at the 2019 CSA Women’s National Team Championships. The Cardinals lost to No. 18 Dickinson on Friday, 8-1, but responded with a 6-3 victory over No. 22 Hamilton the following day and a 7-2 win over No. 21 Mount Holyoke in the Consolation Finals.

    Sophomores Sean Choi and Aditi Prasad of the Wesleyan University squash teams were both named 2019 All-NESCAC First Team selections, as voted on by the conference coaches and announced Friday by the league office. 
  • Women's Squash Prepares for CSA Team Championships

    The nationally-ranked No. 23 Wesleyan University women's squash team will compete in the 2019 College Squash Association (CSA) Women's Team National Championships this weekend, beginning Friday, Feb. 22 and wrapping up Sunday, Feb. 24. The Cardinals earned the No. 7 seed in the Walker Cup (C Division) and will face the No. 8 seed, Dickinson College, in the Quarterfinals at 12 p.m. Friday. Wesleyan and Trinity are hosting the tournament, marking the first time-ever that non-Ivy League schools are serving as hosts.
  • No. 8 Wesleyan Defeats No. 7 Hamilton at NESCAC Championships, 5-4

    The No. 8 seeded Wesleyan University women’s squash team defeated No. 7 Hamilton, 5-4, in the Seventh Place match on the final day of the 2019 NESCAC Championships hosted by Trinity College.
  • Women's Squash Drops Pair of Matches to Trinity and Tufts

    The eighth-seeded Wesleyan University women's squash team lost a pair of matches on the second day of the NESCAC Championships hosted by Trinity. The Cardinals dropped their quarterfinal match against the top-seeded Bantams, 9-0, and were defeated 9-0 in the consolation round in the afternoon against fifth-seeded Tufts. 
  • No. 8 Women's Squash Advances to Quarterfinals, Sweeps No. 9 Colby

    The eighth-seeded Wesleyan University women’s squash team swept ninth-seeded Colby College in the First Round of the 2019 NESCAC Championships on Friday evening at Trinity College. With the win, the Cardinals improve to 6-8 and will play No. 1 Trinity tomorrow at 10 a.m.
  • No. 8 Wesleyan to Play No. 9 Colby in First Round of NESCAC Championships

    The 24th-ranked Wesleyan University women’s squash team will compete in the 2019 NESCAC Women’s Squash Championships this weekend and will enter the tournament as the No. 8 seed. The Cardinals will face ninth-seeded and nationally-ranked No. 25 Colby College in the First Round on Friday, Feb. 8 at 6 p.m. on the campus of Trinity College.
  • Women's Squash Falls to Amherst and Williams at Little Three Championship

    The 21st-ranked Wesleyan University women’s squash team competed in the Little Three Championship at Williams College on Saturday in its 2018-19 regular-season finale. The Cardinals fell to No. 15 Williams in their morning match, 9-0, and dropped its afternoon match to No. 16 Amherst, 7-2.

    The 21st-ranked Wesleyan University women’s squash team was edged by No. 25 Mount Holyoke, 5-4, on Saturday morning in the final day of the Pioneer Valley Invitational.

    In its first match of the Pioneer Valley Invitational, the No. 21 Wesleyan University women's squash team defeated No. 28 Haverford College, 7-2 on Friday afternoon. With the win, the Cardinals improved to 5-5 with their second consecutive victory, while the Fords dropped to 5-3.

    The 20th-ranked Wesleyan women’s squash team was swept by No. 15 Middlebury College on Saturday afternoon, 9-0. With the loss, the Cardinals are now 3-4 on the year while the Panthers improve to 2-0.

  • Women's Squash Splits Doubleheader

    The 20th-ranked Cardinals women’s squash team split its doubleheader on the final day of the Wesleyan Round Robin on Sunday afternoon. After falling to No. 17 Dickinson in their first match of the day, 9-0, they responded nicely with a 9-0 sweep over No. 37 Bard. Wesleyan is now 2-3 overall on the year.

    The 20th-ranked Wesleyan women’s squash team hosted No. 21 Franklin & Marshall on Saturday afternoon on Day 2 of the Wesleyan Round Robin, and fell 8-1. With the loss, the Cardinals are now 1-2 on the season.

  • No. 20 Women Squash Suffers Setback in Season-Opener against No. 19 Tufts

    The No. 20 Wesleyan University women’s squash team kicked its season off with an away match-up against No. 19 Tufts. Despite the close difference in rankings, the Cardinals struggled to upset the more experienced NESCAC rival as they dropped the match, 9-0. Wesleyan is now 0-1 following its season-opening loss while the Jumbos grabbed their first win.
