Wesleyan Defeats Connecticut College, 6-3

NEW LONDON, Conn. – The 20th-ranked Wesleyan women's squash team took the first six spots in the lineup to defeat No. 27 Connecticut College on Friday night, 6-3.

MATCH HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Aditi Prasad and Ali Imperiale both swept their matches. Prasad took the No. 1 spot by scores of 11-4, 11-5, 11-1, and Imperiale claimed wins of 11-6, 11-7, 11-9 in the No. 5 position.
  • Ananya Vir won 11-7, 11-1, 10-12, 11-9 in the No. 2 slot and Ale Lampietti dropped her first set 11-7 but responded with wins of 11-5, 11-4, 11-8 in the No. 6 position.
  • Both Nina Premutico and Natasha Feenstra won thrilling five-set matches.
  • Premutico won in the No. 3 spot by scores of 11-7, 8-11, 12-10, 11-13, 11-6, and Feenstra won 12-10, 12-10, 8-11, 10-12, 11-9 in the No. 5 position.
  • The Camels swept No. 7-9.
