No. 20 Women's Squash Swept by No. 15 Middlebury, 9-0

MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – The 20th-ranked Wesleyan women's squash team was swept by No. 15 Middlebury College on Saturday afternoon, 9-0. With the loss, the Cardinals are now 3-4 on the year while the Panthers improve to 2-0.

MATCH HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Aditi Prasad and Ananya Vir were the lone Cardinals to win sets, as Middlebury swept No. 3-9.
  • Prasad fell in the No. 1 spot by scores of 11-4, 7-11, 12-10, 11-6.
  • Vir lost the No. 2 slot by marks of 6-11, 11-7, 11-3, 11-3.

  • Wesleyan is off for a couple weeks during the break and returns to action on Tuesday, Jan. 8 as it faces Bates on the road. The match is scheduled to start at 6 p.m.
