Freshman Maela Whitcomb Captures Two Event Wins as Cardinals Win Two Dual Meets

MIDDLETOWN, Conn. - Swimming and diving competed in a two-day event against NESCAC schools, Trinity, Colby and Bowdoin. The Cardinals were able to come out with two dual meet wins against Trinity and Colby.

SWIMMING HIGHLIGHTS
  • Freshman Maela Whitcomb was able to capture two event wins in the  500 Free (5:21.92) and the 200 Back (2:14.64)
  • Sophomore Luisa Chan captured first in the 100 Breast (1:09.77)
  • Sophomore Charlotte Pitts finished in third in the 100m Fly with a time of 1:01.80
DIVING HIGHLIGHTS
  • Sophomore Emily Kessler finished second with a score of 221.45
  • Freshman Devin Cooper finishes third with a score of 217.45

  • The Cardinals will battle the U.S. Coast Guard Academy on Saturday January 30th at 1p.m.
