200 Medley Relay Earns All-America Honorable Mention

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Wesleyan women's swimming and diving 200-yard medley relay team composed of Caroline Murphy (back), Mengmeng Gibbs (breast), Maela Whitcomb (fly) and Hannah O'Halloran (free) earned All-America Honorable Mention after placing 12th in the event with a time of 1:44.45. Denison won with a national record time of 1:40.11, while the top-16 teams featured three other NESCAC squads (Bates, Conn. College & Williams).

The Cardinals are back in action on Thursday when the 30th ranked 200-yard freestyle relay (Murphy, O'Halloran, Sophia Antonio and Grace Middleton) compete, before O'Halloran takes to the pool for the 200-yard freestyle. The 10th ranked 400-yard medley relay composed of Murphy (back), Gibbs (breast), Whitcomb (fly) and Middleton (free) will also compete on Thursday.
