The Lead: The sixth-ranked Wesleyan University women's tennis team cruised to a commanding 9-0 sweep over Connecticut College in its final regular-season home match Thursday evening.

DOUBLES HIGHLIGHTS:

SINGLE HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Wesleyan handled the Camels in singles play.
  • Chong and Yu both won by scores of 6-0, 6-1 in the No. 1 and No. 2 positions, respectively.
  • In No. 3 singles, Klass-Warch swept both sets, while her doubles partner McCann, took the No. 4 spot by scores of 6-1, 6-2.
  • At the bottom of the lineup, Dubinsky won decisively in the No. 5 position (6-0, 6-1), and Julia Kim '20 earned a victory in No. 6 singles (6-3, 6-1).

UP NEXT:

  • The Cardinals return to the courts Saturday, April 22 and will play at No. 12 Amherst. The match is scheduled to start at 1 p.m.
