HADLEY, Mass. – Ivie Uzamere of the Wesleyan women's track and field team was named the NESCAC Field Performer of the Week following an outstanding showing this weekend at the Cardinal's J. Elmer Swanson Classic. Despite being the lone competitor in the hammer, Uzamere broke the school record with a personal best mark of 50.98m. The previous school record was 50.70m and had stood since 2014. Her mark now leads the NESCAC and is ranked seventh in the nation in the event.
