    Freshman middle blocker Mia Jago of the Wesleyan University volleyball team was named the NESCAC Player of the Week, as announced Monday by the league office.

    The Wesleyan University volleyball team cruised to a 3-0 sweep over Hamilton College Saturday afternoon in Silloway Gymnasium by scores of 25-14, 25-10, 25-21. It was the Cardinals fourth-consecutive victory as they improve to 4-1 overall and 2-0 in the NESCAC. The Continentals are now 2-4, 0-2.
  • Volleyball Rallies to Defeat Little Three Rival Williams in Home-Opener, 3-1

    After dropping its first set, the Wesleyan University volleyball team rallied for three consecutive wins to defeat Little Three archrival Williams College in a thriller Friday night in the Cardinals’ home-opener, 3-1. Freshman Mia Jago shined in her Silloway Gymnasium debut as she finished with 11 kills and an incredible .611 hitting percentage.
  • Cardinals Sweep Doubleheader Over Susquehanna (3-2) and SUNY Geneseo (3-0)

    The Wesleyan University volleyball team recovered from a season-opening loss last night to No. 7 Ithaca by following up with back-to-back non-conference wins on Saturday over Susquehanna (3-2) and SUNY Geneseo (3-0), respectively. The Cardinals conclude the 2018 South Hill Classic, hosted by Ithaca, with a 2-1 record.

    The Wesleyan University volleyball team opened its 2018 season with a difficult non-conference matchup against No. 7 Ithaca on Friday night, and were swept 3-0 by scores of 25-20, 25-15, 25-19. The Bombers (3-1) reached the Final Four of the NCAA Division III Championships a year ago.
