Grant Lounsbury Wins Match Against UVA as Men's Squash Battles UVA and Bates

The Wesleyan Men's Squash team traveled to the Boston Round Robin where they played hard fought matches against the University of Virginia and Bates.

The team lost to a much improved University of Virginia squash program but there were some hard fought 5 game matches and a few jitters for the first match of the season. UVA looked a little more seasoned having had a few more matches under their belt.

Grant Lounsbury came out victorious in his match, winning in straight sets.

The Cardinals match against Bates was closer than the result suggests. David Sneed and Zach Roach both played competitive five set matches against their opponents from Bates.

Wesleyan is welcoming back players to the team in January and are hopeful that senior captain, Guy Davidson, will return from injury around that time as well.
