Men's Squash Loses 9-0 to Middlebury

MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – The 31st-ranked Wesleyan University men's squash team lost a 9-0 match to No. 20 Middlebury on Saturday afternoon. With the loss, the Cardinals fall to 1-6 overall this season. The Panthers are now 2-1.

MATCH HIGHLIGHTS: 

  • Middlebury swept all nine matches.
  • At the top of the lineup, Sean Choi lost to Will Cembalest by scores of 11-9, 11-2, 11-4 in the No. 1 spot.
  • Yahya Ladiwala lost the No. 2 slot to Jacob Ellen by marks of 11-5, 11-3, 11-6.
  • In the No. 3 position, Josh Lane lost to Justin Ghaeli 11-7, 11-5, 11-3.

UP NEXT:

  • Wesleyan is off for a couple weeks during the break and returns to action on Tuesday, Jan. 8 as it faces Bates on the road. The match is scheduled to start at 6 p.m.
