Coach Black: "We were right there in the heat of the battle, but did not close it out. We know we are close, but need continued work on technical details and simply being tougher, more gritty in the spotlight. I am confident in our young men to continue to prepare and get these type of matches back as we move into and through February. February is peak time and we are inclining towards Regionals."

"Aaron Goldman led the way with 3 wins, a tech fall, major decision, and a pin for 15 team points. At 149, Dario Molina and 174 Marco Gaita wrestled their first matches since December 4th both going 2-1 on the day. I see nothing but forward and upward momentum from these two leaders."

"It was also great to have freshman Shailen Savur get a big win at 125 vs. Roger Williams for his first dual win of his career, as well as Aris Dashiell stepping in at 184 vs. WPI for his first dual win of his young career."
