MEDFORD, MA. – Competing through the weekend at the Boston University Valentine Invitational and Tufts Cupid Challenge, the Wesleyan women's track and field team delivered top times as Sophia Mack '26 placed first in the 60m.

HIGHLIGHTS:

• Highlighting the weekend at the Valentine Invitational, Sydni Chandler '29 placed third in the women's 60m hurdles, running a 9.40. Juliette Sullivan '27 ran a 24.98 in the 200m dash, earning sixth place.
• Mack opened the Cupid Challenge with a first-place victory in the 60m open race, running an 8.35.
• The Cardinals held a heavy presence in the 3000m as Alexandra Simon '27 led the way with a third-place finish at 10:18.27. Alexandra Weingard '28 placed fourth (10:28.32) with Stephanie Ager '26 placing fifth (10:29.89).
• Nadia Lim '26 earned a finish at third in the mile race, crossing the finish line at 5:25.05. Genevieve Minard '28 finished 10^th with a 5:27.63.
• Finishing eighth in the 60m hurdles, Katherine Goss '29 clocked in with a final 9.60. Goss also placed fifth in the triple jump at 10:39m.
• Throwing 11.31m, Naomi McGadney '27 placed ninth in the shot put.

 
The Cardinals return to action on Friday, Feb. 20, for the Springfield Triangle Classic.
