MEDFORD, MA. -  The Wesleyan women's track and field team was led by Sydni  Chandler '29 and Juliette Sullivan '27 on Saturday afternoon at the Tufts Quad Meet as Chandler won the 60m hurdles. Wesleyan finished the meet with 28 Top 10 placements.

HIGHLIGHTS

• Continuing her dominance in the women's hurdles, Chandler placed first in the 60m as she ran a final 9.32. Katherine Goss '29 placed fifth with a final time of 9.44 and Alyssa Fix '29 was seventh at 9:38.
• Sullivan earned second place in both the 60m dash and the 400m. In the 60m Sullivan ran a 7.97 before clocking a 58.77 in the 400m. Amelia Goettsch '29 followed Sullivan in fourth place with a 59.50 while Sophia Mack '26 placed eighth at 1:04.02.
• Goettsch and Mack also placed in the 200m. Goettsch finished fourth with a 26.40 as Mack was 10^th with a 27.93.
• The Cardinals dominated the 600m with Genevieve Minard '28 leading the way with a third-place finish at 2:22.42. Alexandra Simon '27 placed fifth (2:27.78), Stephanie Ager '26 placed sixth (2:29.11), Alexandra Weingard '28 finished eighth (2:31.49), Nadia Lim'26  was ninth (2:33.18), and Oona Vali '27 closed in 10^th (2:35.04).
• Bella Migliore placed fourth in the 1,000m as she ran a 3:08.41. Virginia Lustenberger '26 placed seventh with a 3:20.25. Maya Nikoukari '26 finished eight with a 3:24.39.
• Placing sixth in the mile, Elanora Smith '27 led a pack of Cardinals with a final 5:13.07. Simon was seventh (3:14.18), Chase Cerrell finished eighth (5:15.54), and Weingard finished 10^th (5:17.65).
• Ellie Green ran a 1:41.65 in the 600m, placing sixth. Taylor Worley '29 finished 10^th with a final 1:47.35. In the 3,000m, Virginia Lessner '28 finished in eighth place as she ran 10:19.57.
• The Cardinals 4x400m relay team placed fourth as Eva Beauchamp '28, Chandler, Fix, and Goss combined for a final time of 4:11.44.
• Naomi McGadney '27 led the Cardinals in the women's shot put, placing third as she threw for 11.44m.

The Cardinals return to action on Friday, Feb. 13, when they travel to Boston University for the Valentine Invitational.
