MIDDLETOWN, CT. - The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) and the New England Cross Country and Track & Field Association have announced the 2026 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field honorees. The Wesleyan women's track & field team finished the indoor portion of the season with 12 total awards.
HIGHLIGHTS
- All-Region awards are permitted to the top 8 participants in each event along with all members of the top 8 relay teams. All-New England distinction is permitted to the top performers in each event from a New England based institution.
- Juliette Sullivan '27 led all Cardinals with recognition in three events. Sullivan was a national qualifier in the women's 200m, running a 25.07 at the NCAA DIII Indoor Championship. Sullivan received All-Region and All-New England honors in the 200m and 400m.
- The 4x400m relay team of Sullivan, Sydni Chandler '29, Alyssa Fix '29, and Amelia Goettsch '29 ran a combined 3:58.82 at the Boston University Valentine Invitational, earning All-Region accolades.
- Goettsch, Kaitlyn Connors '29, Elanora Smith '27, and Virginia Lessner '28 took All-Region and All-New England honors as members of the distance medley relay team, running a 12:07.16 at the New England DIII Indoor Championship.
- Smith also earned All-New England honors in the 800m, crossing the finish line at 2:17.48 at the Boston University Valentine Invitational.
The Cardinals begin outdoor action on Saturday, March 21.
