AMHERST, MA. - The Wesleyan women's track and field showed at the Amherst Spring Fling on Saturday afternoon, hosted by Amherst College, as the weekend was highlighted by performances in the 200m dash by
Juliette Sullivan '27 and
Amelia Goettsch '29.
RESULTS
HIGHLIGHTS
- Sullivan earned a second-place finish in the women's outdoor 200m, crossing the finish line with a final time of 25.66. Sullivan also placed fifth in the 100m dash, clocking in at 12.24.
- Goettsch followed Sullivan in the 200m by two spots, placing fourth as she finished with a 26.27 final.
- The 4x400m relay team of Eva Beauchamp '28, Sydni Chandler '29, Alyssa Fix '29, and Anika Frutman '28 placed fifth, combining for a 4:09.72 final.
- Placing sixth, the 4x100m relay team of Alex Neubert '29, Sophia Mack '26, Goettsch, and Sullivan placed sixth at 49.61.
The Cardinals return to action on Friday, April 10, when they travel to Conn. College for the Silfen Invitational.
