MIDDLETOWN, CT. – Following his second first-place victory of the season, Wesleyan men's cross country junior Dylan Cote earns NESCAC Runner of the Week honors as announced by the conference office on Tuesday, Sept. 22.

Cote won the 2026 Cardinal Invitational, Wesleyan's home race, with a personal-best time of 24:12.4 and finished more than four seconds faster than the rest of the 131 runners in the field. The Cardinals finished third among nine teams and a field that featured four nationally ranked squads.

The season opened with Cote winning the Little Three Championship individual title at home.

The Cardinals return to action on Friday, Oct. 2, with the Paul Short Invitational.
