MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – Wesleyan baseball player Andrew Keith earned All-NESCAC Second Team laurels, as voted on by the league's coaches and announced by the conference office on Wednesday.
Keith closed out his Wesleyan career with a great senior campaign in which he batted .358 with 43 hits, 25 RBI and 20 runs scored. Earlier this year, he eclipsed the 100 career-hits mark, as he closed out his career with 131 total. He had a hit in 28 of the team's 35 games this year and did not go consecutive games without a hit this season. The outfielder helped guide the Cardinals to several strong defensive performances, recording 84 putouts this spring.
Through his career, Keith averaged above .300 each season and owns a .344 career-batting average. In addition to his 131 career-hits, he scored 79 runs, 50 RBI and 30 stolen bases.
