Eighmy had a career game on Saturday as he led Wesleyan's stifling defense with three sacks for a loss of 25 yards. Additionally, he finished the game with a total of five tackles – all resulting in a loss of yards.
The two-sport athlete, who is also a member of the 2018 National Champion men's lacrosse team, played a pivotal role in Saturday's victory. Williams entered the game as one of the top rushing attacks in the NESCAC but the Cardinals held them to negative eight yards on the ground.
With the win, Wesleyan is now 5-3 on the year and will wrap up the season on Saturday, Nov. 10 against in-state rival Trinity (7-1). The Cardinals will host the Bantams at Corwin Stadium with the kickoff scheduled for 12 p.m.
