Blair Ingraham, a 2014 Wesleyan graduate, will be entering her second season as an assistant coach for the field hockey program at Wesleyan in 2017.
Ingraham starred as a four-year midfielder for the Cardinals, and served as co-captain during her senior campaign. She was a First Team All-NESCAC, First Team DIII All-New England West and NESCAC All-Sportsmanship selection during the 2013 season. Ingraham was also a three-time NESCAC All-Academic selection, and was named the Jones Award Winner for her contributions to the field hockey team her senior year.
During Ingraham’s playing career (2010-13), the Cardinals qualified for the NESCAC Tournament all four years and boasted two winning seasons, including a superb year in 2010 – featuring a 10-5 overall mark and a 5-4 record in the NESCAC. The Northport, N.Y., native finished with six goals, two assists, 14 points and two game-winning goals during her senior campaign.
Ingraham also contributed to the women's lacrosse program as a midfielder from 2011-2013, and was a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). After graduating from Wesleyan, Ingraham worked for SportsRecruits, a sports-tech company in New York City that helps student-athletes connect with college coaches during the recruiting process.
Ingraham also serves as an assistant coach for the women's lacrosse team, and is pursuing her MALS at Wesleyan.
