MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – Wesleyan’s Addie Thomas of the field hockey team was recognized as a 2018 Zag Field Hockey/NFHCA Division III Scholar of Distinction, while the Cardinals placed 20 student-athletes on the 2018 Zag Field Hockey/NFHCA Division III National Academic Squad, as announced by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA). Wesleyan was also awarded the 2018 National Academic Team Award which recognizes programs that earned a team grade-point average of 3.0 or higher during the fall semester of the 2018-19 school year.
