Leo Clibanoff '22 enters his second season as a student assistant coach for the Wesleyan men’s basketball team. He supports Head Coach Joe Reilly with all aspects of the program, with a specific emphasis on team performance analytics. In addition, Clibanoff conducts statistical research throughout the season to evaluate and enhance the team’s competitive advantage.
Prior to arriving at Wesleyan, Clibanoff worked as a manager of the varsity boys’ basketball team at Lower Merion High School in Ardmore, Pa. Under the direction of Head Coach Gregg Downer, he implemented Villanova Head Coach Jay Wright’s “Attitude Statistics” model in both games and practice.
Currently a sophomore, Clibanoff is pursuing a bachelor’s degree with a major in Economics, and a minor in Data Analytics.
