WORCESTER, Mass. – The Wesleyan men's rowing team had an impressive day to wrap up its fall season as the Cardinals placed two boats in the top-six of the collegiate eights at the Quinsigamond Fall Rowing Festival on Saturday morning. The Varsity 8 'A' crew highlighted the day with a second-place finish in the 17-boat field as it crossed the finish line in a time of 17:25.6.
Additionally, the Cardinals' 'B' crew placed sixth overall with a time of 17:57.2, while the 'C' crew placed 12th with a time of 18:59.5.
Williams won the men's collegiate eights with a time of 17:10.0 followed by the Cardinals, while Trinity placed third with a time of 17:27.0.
Wesleyan is off the rest of the fall and will resume racing in the spring.
