Guy Davidson Headshot

Guy Davidson '16

Guy Davidson joins the Wesleyan Squash program as an assistant coach in 2021-22 and brings a wealth of experience.

Davidson graduated as an Earth and Environmental Science major from Wesleyan in 2016 where he was a standout athlete from day one in both squash and baseball. On the squash courts, Davidson played at the Number 1 position during his junior and senior years, boasting solid winning records and bringing home many match wins for the team. As a baseball player, he could be seen hitting game-winning home runs to bring NESCAC Championships titles back to Wesleyan. His accomplishments as an athlete at Wesleyan were fully recognized in receiving the 2016 Ahrens Award - given to the most outstanding senior male athlete.

After graduating, Davidson took a position at Squashbusters in Boston, a sports-based youth development program, where he coached squash to high school students. Alongside coaching, Davidson continued to work on his squash game training with some of the best players in the Boston area and competing professionally both in the USA and abroad.

"We are very fortunate that Guy is bringing his wealth of experience back to Wesleyan to work with students both on and off the court," said Head Coach Shona Kerr.

Davidson is pursuing his Master's degree at Wesleyan while coaching.
