  • Wesleyan Wraps Up 2019 With 3-1 Triumph Over Albertus Magnus

    NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Wesleyan men’s hockey team (4-3-0) used a pair of first period goals to propel them past Albertus Magnus 3-1 on Friday evening. The contest was the final game of the 2019 season for the Cardinals, while the Falcons (0-8-2) wrap up first-semester play on Saturday. 
  • Third Period Burst Propels Wesleyan Past Potsdam 6-2

    MANCHESTER, N.H. – Knotted at 2-2 heading into the third period, the Wesleyan men’s hockey team (3-2-0) scored four unanswered goals to top Potsdam 6-2 in the Saint Anselm Thanksgiving Tournament on Sunday afternoon. With the win, the Cardinals improve to 3-3-0, while the Bears fall to 1-8-1. Wesleyan was led by Spencer Fox’s pair of third-period goals, a tally and an assist from Tyler Levine and three helpers from Walker Harris. 
  • Wesleyan Falls to Saint Anselm

    MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Wesleyan men’s hockey team fell 7-1 to Saint Anselm on Saturday afternoon in the Saint Anselm Thanksgiving Tournament. It was the 21st meeting between the two teams and first since 2010. With the loss, the Cardinals fall to 2-3-0 overall, while the Hawks improve to 6-3-1.
  • Wesleyan Cruises Past Amherst 4-1

    CLINTON, N.Y. – The Wesleyan men’s hockey team (2-2-0, 2-2-0) avenged it’s 1-0 NESCAC Semifinal loss to Amherst from a year ago, cruising to a 4-1 on Saturday afternoon in the team’s 104th meeting. The four goals were the most either team has scored on each other since 2015 and the most the Cardinals have tallied against the Mammoths since 1998. Last year, the team’s battled in three very close contests as one meeting ended in a 1-1 draw, while the other two matchups saw a single one-goal victory for each team.   
  • Strong Second Period Lifts Hamilton Past Wesleyan 5-4

    CLINTON, N.Y. – The Wesleyan men’s hockey team (1-2-0, 1-2-0) was edged 5-4 at Hamilton on Friday night, as the Continentals netted three tallies in the second period and never looked back. It was the 50th meeting between the Cardinals and the Continentals (2-1-0, 1-1-0) in a series that dates back to 1973.
  • Men’s Hockey Falls to Connecticut College

    MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – The Wesleyan men’s hockey team (1-1-0, 1-1-0) fell 4-1 to Connecticut College on Saturday afternoon. Both teams opened the season with conference opponents on Friday evening, as Tyler Wyatt’s four goals propelled Wesleyan past Tufts 5-3. Connecticut College suffered a 3-1 loss at Trinity, as both teams split their first pair of NESCAC contests.  
  • Wyatt’s Four Goals Propel Wesleyan Past Tufts 5-3 on Opening Night

    MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – The Wesleyan men’s hockey team (1-0-0, 1-0-0) opened its season with a 5-3 victory over Tufts (0-1-0, 0-1-0) on Friday evening. Tyler Wyatt led the team with four goals, scoring twice in the opening 5:57 of play, while the team’s five goals were the most the Cardinals have scored on the Jumbos since 2014.
  • Four Cardinals Tabbed AHCA All-American Scholars
    October 04, 2019
    MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – Following its best season in program history, four members of the Wesleyan men’s ice hockey team were tabbed All-American Scholars by the American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) earlier this month. The organization recognizes varsity ice hockey players who attained a 3.6 GPA each semester and participated in 40% of their school’s games in the 2018-19 season.
