MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – The 2019 season-opener between No. 1 Wesleyan men's lacrosse and Little Three archrival Williams has been rescheduled for Sunday, March 3 due to expected inclement weather conditions. The game will be played on Citrin Field and is scheduled to start at 2 p.m.
Wesleyan is coming off its first national championship in program history and finished the 2018 campaign with a 19-3 overall record and 9-1 NESCAC mark. The Ephs went 9-8 a year ago and 6-4 in the league. The two rivals last met in the conference semifinals last spring as the Cardinals prevailed at home, 13-5.
