MIDDLETOWN, Conn. - On Friday, March 1, the top-ranked Wesleyan University men's lacrosse team introduced its newest member of the team as the Cardinals drafted Team IMPACT member Jeshua "J.J" Lopez from Meriden, Conn.

J.J., a huge sports fan, is eight years old and lives with common variable immune deficiency (CVID), an incurable immune disorder that leaves patients susceptible to illness and infection.
