The Lead: The No. 10 Wesleyan University men's tennis team defeated No. 8 University of Redlands, 6-3 Friday to improve to 3-1 on the season.
DOUBLES HIGHLIGHTS:
- The Cardinals claimed a 3-0 sweep in doubles action.
- Seniors Michael Liu and Jake Roberts claimed a thrilling 9-8 win in No. 1 doubles, while Tiago Eusebio '18 and Maxwell Smith '19 won 8-4 in No. 2 doubles, and Steven Chen '18 and Cameron Daniels '18 took No. 3 doubles, 8-6.
SINGLE HIGHLIGHTS:
- Wesleyan claimed the No. 3-5 positions in singles play.
- Eusebio took No. 3 singles by a score of 7-5, 6-3.
- In the No. 4 position, Joachim Samson '19 won by scores of 4-6, 7-5, 6-3, and Princeton Carter '20, who continues to shine in his freshman season, won No. 5 singles by scores of 6-3, 4-6, 6-1.

- Wesleyan returns to the courts Saturday, March 25 and will play at Quinnipiac beginning at 6 p.m.
