No. 6 Men’s Tennis Hosts Wesleyan Invitational
October 20, 2019MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – The No. 6 Wesleyan men’s tennis team hosted its first-ever invitational this weekend as it entertained No. 3 Middlebury, No. 5 Amherst, No. 7 Bowdoin, No. 8 Brandeis, No. 17 Tufts and No. 34 Rensselaer (RPI) over a two-day span. Princeton Carter and Noah Lilienthal highlighted the Wesleyan Invitational for the Cardinals, advancing to the A flight doubles final after triumphing over top-seeded Tristan Bradley and Oscar Yang of Bowdoin. -
No. 6 Wesleyan Competes at ITA Regional
September 29, 2019WATERVILLE, Maine – The No. 6 Wesleyan men’s tennis team competed at the 2019 ITA Regional Championships hosted by Colby College this weekend. The tournament was highlighted by a pair of singles semifinal appearances from Zach Fleischman and Noah Lilienthal, who each squared off against fellow NESCAC players. -
Carter and Lilienthal Win Doubles “A Flight” at Quinnipiac Invitational
September 22, 2019HAMDEN, Conn.— The No. 6 Wesleyan men’s tennis team began its fall season at the Quinnipiac Invitational, competing against the hosts as well as Fairfield, Fordham, Marist, and the University of Connecticut. Despite being the only Division III school at the tournament, the Cardinals proved they can compete at a high level, as Princeton Carter and Noah Lilienthal finished as doubles champions in the A flight, while Carter also made the A flight finals in singles. -
