MIDDLETOWN, Conn. - The Wesleyan University men's and women's cross country teams will travel to Waterville, Maine this Saturday, October 29th to compete in the 2016 NESCAC Cross Country Championships, hosted by Colby College.
All 11 NESCAC teams will compete in the conference championship, with each school being allowed to race 12 athletes. The top-five finishers on each team will factor into the final team scores. The men's 8-kilometer race will begin at 12 p.m. and the women's 6-kilometer race will follow shortly after at 1 p.m.
After finishing sixth in last year's event, which was held at the Wes Fuhrman '05 Trails hosted by Wesleyan, the men's cross country team eyes a return to Nationals for a second consecutive season.

He also finished fourth overall in the Little Three Championship with a mark of 25:32.90. Dudek placed 26th in last year's race with a time of 26:03.25. Fellow senior Reid Hawkins and junior Tate Knight will also look to have an impact for Wesleyan.
