Softball Will Host Bates on Saturday (April 14) at the Wesleyan Softball Field

MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – The Wesleyan University softball doubleheader scheduled for Sunday, April 15, against Bates at 2 p.m. has been pushed forward a day to Saturday, April 14, as announced on Friday morning due to the threat of inclement weather on Sunday.

On Saturday, Game 1 against the Bobcats (11-8, 1-5 NESCAC East Division) is set for 3 p.m., and first pitch for the second game is slated for 5 p.m. at the Wesleyan Softball Field in Middletown, Conn.

In other scheduling news for the Cardinals' softball team (8-12, 0-5 NESCAC West Division), the game against Little Three-foe Amherst that was postponed on March 30 will now be played on Wednesday, April 25, at 5 p.m. in Amherst, Mass. Additionally, The non-conference doubleheader slated for Wednesday, April 18, at Western New England has been cancelled, and as of right now no makeup date has been announced.
