MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – Six members of the Wesleyan softball team earned All-America Scholar-Athlete honors as announced by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA). The organization recognizes players that maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or greater through the 2018-19 academic year.
The Wesleyan softball team lost both games of its doubleheader to No. 3 Williams on Saturday at the Wesleyan Softball Field. In game one, Rebecca Duncan tossed a no-hitter as the Ephs won, 3-0. In the nightcap, Williams came out strong and prevailed 7-1.
HARTFORD, Conn. – The Wesleyan softball team (12-18) split a doubleheader at Trinity on Tuesday. The Cardinals eased to an 11-6 victory in game one, but fell short 6-4 as the Bantams (14-12) mounted a comeback in the second game.
NEW LONDON, Conn. – The Wesleyan softball team (11-17) picked up a pair of wins over Mitchell (8-15) on the road on Tuesday. The Cardinals were victorious 6-3 in game one, before taking the second contest by an 8-0 score in six innings. The contest marked the first meeting between the teams since their inaugural doubleheader in 2006, as the Cardinals are now 4-0 against the Mariners.
MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – The Wesleyan softball team (9-17, 1-8) was downed by Middlebury (10-9, 3-3) in doubleheader action on Saturday. The Cardinals were edged 3-2 in game one, before falling to the Panthers 4-1 in the second contest.

CLINTON, N.Y. – The Wesleyan softball team (9-13, 1-4) opened a three-game NESCAC West series with a doubleheader split against Hamilton (17-6, 1-4) on Saturday after. The Cardinals and the Continentals will play their final game of the series on Sunday at 11:00 a.m.
CLERMONT, Fla. – The Wesleyan softball team (7-6) downed SUNY Cobleskill 5-0 in the first game of the day where Danielle Rinaldi threw a complete game shutout, but fell to Endicott (6-1) 6-0 in its final game of spring trip. The Cardinals are back in action on Wednesday when they head to Coast Guard for a doubleheader beginning at 3:00 p.m.
CLERMONT, Fla. – The Wesleyan softball team (6-5) dropped its first game of the day 7-1 to Rutgers-Camden (3-2), but bounced back to triumph 3-1 over MCLA (1-6) in its second contest. The Cardinals will conclude their spring break trip on Thursday with a game against SUNY Cobleskill at 9:00 a.m., before taking on Endicott at 1:30 p.m.
CLERMONT, Fla. – The Wesleyan softball team (5-4) dropped its first game of the day 8-0 to the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point (3-7), but bounced back, picking up a 5-2 victory over Ripon (4-4) in its second game of the day. The Cardinals will enjoy a day off on Tuesday, before taking on Rutgers-Camden on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. and MCLA at noon.
KISSIMMEE, Fla. – The Wesleyan softball team (4-3) cruised to an 8-3 victory over Clarkson (6-3) in its first game of the day, before falling 3-0 to McDaniel (4-2) on Sunday afternoon. The Cardinals will take on Wisconsin-Stevens Points on Monday morning at 9:45 a.m.
CLERMONT, Fla. – The Wesleyan softball team utilized seven runs in the fifth inning to cruise to an 8-2 victory over No. 12 Rowan on Friday evening. The game was called after five innings due to rain and the Cardinal’s second game of the day against Western New England was postponed. Wesleyan is back in action on Sunday when it takes on Clarkson at 11:45 a.m., before playing McDaniel at 2:00 p.m.
Brenna Monroe ’21 hit a walk-off double in game one, and Danielle Rinaldi ’21 pitched a complete game shutout in game two, as the Wesleyan University softball team swept its doubleheader over Trinity College Tuesday night by scores of 4-3 and 6-0, respectively.
