Women's Golf Wraps Up Fall Season at NESCAC Championship Qualifier

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – The Wesleyan women's golf team competed at the NESCAC Fall Qualifier, in conjunction with the Williams Fall Classic, at the Taconic Golf Club this weekend. Williams secured first place with a score of 619, followed by Amherst (624) and Middlebury (635).

HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Saadia Naeem shot a 92 on Saturday followed by a one-stroke improvement of 91 on Sunday, finishing with a 183 for the tournament.
  • Alexis Banquer carded a 104 and 114 for the weekend for a final score of 218.
  • Meg Wiley scored a 134 on day one and a 114 on day two, for a total of 248 overall.

UP NEXT:

  • This weekend's tournament concludes the fall portion of the 2019-20 schedule for the Cardinals. They will return to action in the spring.
